Program: NYS Teacher Centers Online
Audience: Open to all educators
Dates: 2/22/2021 to 3/19/2021
CTLE Hours: 6Teachers need to develop skills for distance learning related to the pandemic of 2020. Rather than being in crisis teaching mode, this course will provide an opportunity to read and journal in the The Distance Learning Playbook, and design learning opportunities based on purpose, intent, student interaction and critical thinking. Teachers from all grade levels will have opportunities to share their expertise in diverse instructional approaches including direct instruction, peer-learning, and independent work, that foster student self-regulation and move learning to deep and transfer levels. Participants must purchase their own book.Option 2. From Crisis to Confidence: 'The Distance Learning Playbook' (book study)
Program: NYS Teacher Centers Online
Audience: Open to all educators
Dates: 3/1/2021 to 5/14/2021
